    Abstract
This manuscript thesis explores an approach to psychotherapy that includes spirituality. The thesis considers psycho-spiritual growth as a life long journey and in various sections; the author shares his own experiences and challenges related to specific areas. Chapter one explores Buddhism and other spiritual traditions while chapter two introduces the concept of “spiritual bypassing” along with Integral theory. Chapter three explains the Enneagram and expands on it by providing information on shadow-work. In chapter four, the author offers a critique of a specific Buddhist tradition along with providing an alternative. Chapter five explores ideas on the practice of this therapy approach and offers a synthesis of sections as well as areas for further research and experimentation.
